The JMU Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Kira Omelchenko, is the premier symphonic ensemble for the School of Music at James Madison University. Join the Symphony for Waves of the Sea, with in an evening of captivating music inspired by nature and pieces featuring Lina Cao, guzheng soloist. The concert includes works by Sibelius, Delius, Rui Wang, Pui Ian Chan, and Howard Hanson. A pre-concert talk with guest soloist, Lina Cao, occurs from 1:00-1:30 pm in the Forbes grand lobby.
