Dancescapes 2026 will feature choreographic work by guest artists from across the country including Trisha Brown Dance Company, Vanessa Hernández Cruz and Nicole Von Arx (NVA & Guests). The concert will also feature works from JMU dance instructors Darla Stanley and Kathryn Nusa Logan. This exciting evening will explore contemporary dance at its finest, featuring members of Virginia Repertory Dance Company, JMU School of Theatre and Dance’s very own student dance company. As JMU's pre-professional dance ensemble, VRDC consists of talented student dancers who are interested in pursuing a career in the professional dance field.
