Joining us at the Forbes Center for the third time, the Cory Band delivers the kind of night you won't forget. Imagine 30 musicians filling the Concert Hall with a wall of brass that is precise, powerful and deeply alive. From the Welsh Valleys town of Ton Pentre, the Cory Band comprises predominantly amateur musicians who devote their free time to perfecting every piece they perform.  Widely regarded as one of the most successful brass bands in history, the Cory Band has built a global reputation for musical excellence, innovation, and electrifying live performance. Founded in South Wales in 1884, the ensemble has won multiple International, National, and European Championship titles and remains one of the world’s leading brass bands under the direction of Musical Director Philip Harper.

They will perform at the Forbes Centre as part of their five-concert tour which marks the 50th anniversary of the band’s historic 1976 Bicentennial visit to North America and America’s 250th anniversary celebrations.
