Choreography from across the country takes center stage as JMU’s premier dance ensemble performs work by recognized guest artists including New York choreographer Sarah Burke, a JMU alum and former member of Virginia Rep. The company will also present pieces by RAS Mikey Courtney from Detroit, Scott Putman from Virginia, and Virginia-based Matt Pardo. Putman is founder and artistic director of Amaranth Arts in Richmond, and Pardo is co-artistic director of the artistic production company, The Blanket. Balancing out the evening will be works by artistic director Shane O’Hara and other JMU dance faculty members.

One of the pieces in this performance entitled "Roadkill" contains adult language.
