One of Germany’s leading chamber music groups, the Scharoun Ensemble Berlin features eight musicians who are all members of the Berlin Philharmonic, called “the world’s best orchestra” by The Guardian. This concert benefitting Any Given Child Harrisonburg features the Massanutten Brass Band, an award-winning British-style band directed by JMU faculty member Kevin Stees, and Good Company, a six-member a cappella group that won the 2018 Shenandoah Valley Sing Off! An ensemble of students selected from Harrisonburg City Schools return to the lineup in an evening that combines performance, education and dialogue to engage audiences of all ages. Check back for program updates.
