This concert featuring artists and ensembles from the Shenandoah Valley and benefiting Any Given Child Harrisonburg combines performance, education and dialogue to engage audiences of all ages. The lineup includes the Harrisonburg Harmonizers' Vintage Mix barbershop quartet who sings music from the Tin Pan Alley era, and the Waynesboro Symphony Orchestra, where JMU music instructor Peter Wilson serves as director and JMU faculty member Wanchi serves as concertmaster. An ensemble of students selected from Harrisonburg City Schools will perform, and jazz and chamber music round out the evening. Check www.jmuforbescenter.com for program updates.

This concert benefits Any Given Child Harrisonburg, a partnership with the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts designed to ensure access to quality live arts experiences for every pre-K-8 student in Harrisonburg.
