Vocal area coordinator Dr. John Little is retiring this spring after 44 years at JMU! Please join the JMU vocal area and past and present students of Dr. Little for this retirement celebration event!

John Little has had numerous appearances as a solo tenor in both concert and opera. He is a former student of Richard Sheil, Burt Kageff, Marjorie Lawrence, Mary Elaine Wallace, Ronald Hedlund, David Lloyd, John Wustman and Todd Duncan. Little received a Bachelor of Science degree from State University of New York at Fredonia, a Master in Music degree from Southern Illinois University and a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Illinios at Urbana-Champaign.
